"Gut-brain-axis: Targets for improvement of cognition in the elderly"

SmartAge is a Marie Skłodowska-Curie Innovative Training Network (ITN) funded by the Horizon 2020 Framework Programme of the European Union which startetd on the 1 September 2020. SmartAge brings together 11 Beneficiaries and 5 partner organisations from 10 European countries with one aim in common: We want to improve cognitive functions in old age by studying the potential of intestinal microbes in their effect on the brain.
