Our institute coordinates the master program of Molecular Medicine and is engaged in the bachelor program "Biochemistry/Molecular Biology" as well as in further programs of the university.

Our research covers a broad spectrum of molecular cell biology with a focus on signaling in the nervous system as well as on signaling in tumors and blood vessels.

We are a department of the Center for Molecular Biomedicine (CMB).
