Clinical applications
The IMSID is integrated into all three of the UKJ's main research areas:
Medical Data Science
- Sepsis and infection research: management of the Central German Sepsis Cohort (MSC) as well as clinical epidemiology for various projects in the "Center for Sepsis Control and Care".
- Neurological and psychiatric diseases and disorders (e.g. epilepsy, schizophrenia, depression, dyslexia, pain) in the UKJ research focus "Aging and age-associated diseases".
- Intensive care medicine (e.g. neonatal intensive care, long-term consequences after intensive care treatment)

We act as responsible biometricians in clinical studies on etiology, diagnosis, therapy and prognosis in the fields of:
