The Else Kröner Promotionskolleg „Jena School for Ageing Medicine (JSAM)“ of the Faculty of Medicine, Friedrich Schiller University Jena offers a structured supervision and quality assurance concept for medical doctorates.
The goal of the Jena School for Ageing Medicine (JSAM), which is funded by the Else Kröner-Fresenius-Stiftung since 2018, is to train medical and dental students for an academic career as clinician scientists in the field of ageing medicine. The JSAM Graduate Program offers students, who are interested in research, exciting thesis projects and access to a broad range of skills within the framework of a research-oriented qualification program.
