Pre Courses

Although lectures of the winter term 2016/2017 start on October 17th, additional activities are planned for the first two weeks of October to give you the best start possible for your studies.

Pre-Course "Mathematical Methods"

To complete the M.Sc. programme successfully, basic knowledge in mathematics  
is important. To provide you with the necessary basics an optional pre-course in mathematics starts on October 4th, 2016. Information about the content of the course can be found in the module catalogue.

Time: daily from October, 4th to October, 13th, 8.30 a.m.
Location: Medical-Theoretical Institutes, "Small Auditorium" ("Kleiner Hörsaal") of the Institute of Biochemistry.
(The auditorium is accessible from the courtyard by using your Thoska-Card. If you do not have a Thoska-Card, take the main entrance at Nonnenplan 4, go to the first floor and follow the signs. If the door is locked, use the bell and try to reach a member of the Biomolecular Photonics Group. They will be happy to help you.)

Introduction / Orientation meeting

On October 14th, we will organize a small kick-off meeting, which will give you the possibility to meet your fellow students, to visit important places and to get important information about the M.Sc. programme.
