Topic and question
Much research has been done so far on the consequences of SED injustice for those affected. However, there is almost no knowledge about the extent to which persons who experienced such injustice are associated with certain characteristics, encounter prejudice, experience exclusion or even discrimination up to the present. These forms of stigmatization can contribute to a renewed experience of injustice, the perpetuation of existing or even further health consequences. The aim of the qualitative study is to gain a more accurate picture of the contexts in which these experiences occur, as well as to explore the individual consequences for those affected and their ways of coping.
The study forms the basis for broadening the perspective of the professional help system and the social environment and for deriving practice-relevant measures that contribute to an improvement of the (care) situation of those affected.
