The symposium does not pursue any profit objectives. The registration fee does not cover the entire symposium costs.
Both research associations finance a relevant part of the symposium from travel/symposium funds.

COVID-19 pandemic and cancellations
The symposium will be held with a COVID-19 pandemic compliant hygiene concept. The details will be communicated in advance. Should the symposium not take place or take place in a reduced form due to the pandemic, the organizers will refund the registration fee on a pro-rata basis after deducting all costs already incurred. The registration fee is not refundable in case of cancellation due to illness or private reasons.
